GST

Another GST period finished, and completed. It seems like a whole wait has been lifted of my sholders.

I have been working again on trying to pick up some international clients. I still am yet to get at least one.

However I have two that are very interested so I hopefully will hear more next week.

There are still a few projects which I haven't finished yet so next week will be full steam ahead. I also expect to have the launch of our new website, which will include the new logo. This will be the first time you see the new logo so hopefully it will all work out great.

HeadGirl

HeadGirl is now online. Well our part in the back end development in complete.

My aim now is to try and pick up the marketing contract. Or at least some other kind of contract which will allow us to gain more profit out of that one client.

Problems

Since monday I have been working with my Server Admin Guys on a small problem where one client and only one client can't seem to view their website, access the website control panel or download their emails.

So today about 7 minutes ago I was able to work out that the fault has to be at their computer network not ours. Which was a nice thought.

I have a computer tech going out to their office as i post this to hopefully come up with a solution.

I haven't heard back from any of my overseas deals that I am trying to get. I hope I pick up at least on of them.

Overseas and out of reach

My aim is to pick up the some contracting work from other web development companies around the world.

This has a few benefits, it will increase my global image, increase my income and before you know it i will be able to have my wireless internet connection for my laptop and probably a new car if I can get some more people on board.

So that and the work im doing in WA we should be growing at a steady pace from now on.

Long weekends

I tell you what these long weekends, slow you down so much.... Not as far as design goes but getting content from clients.

Most of them are saying well send it too you as soon as these short weeks are out of the way... These short weeks never seem to end.

These weekend will be spent redeveloping the Able Net Design website. Cause we have created that new logo I want to start using it, so I'll take my notebook with me and get to work. So hopefully by Monday there is a brand new design.

Once the new design is implemented I will make this blog fit in with the look.

Donations all around

Today I started and completed my layout which I am donating to The Psychological Reform Network, which a client a dear friend of mine is starting up.

As you would expect there are quite a few adverts for Able Net Design so hopefully it will help them with what they set out to achieve.

Today was also filled with invoicing and minor work on ArtSpace which have come back with an fantastic for the mock up I sent them.

As far as the content management system is concerned I haven't had time to create a few more modules. The next module I am creating is the blog module. This will then be implemented into all clients that are running the blog system.

In regards to my last post about eBay I haven't actually given it a shot yet, I thought I better get these few major clients out of the way before I start playing around with that.

Something New

With the implementation of the new logo and design (whenever that happens) I plan to try something different. Marketing our services through eBay.

I have noticed a few companies doing it but if i focus on Australia it should be an easier market. The one company that is marketing on the Australian eBay at the moment really can't provide a quality product.

So this is something that I will try in the next few days.

I'm back

Just got back to the office from my Sydney trip.

The sydney trip saw the use of our new logo on the invoices that I emailed out.

Anyway as you might expect I have quite abit of work to get done before the end of the day.
