TAX Time

We have just submitted our first TAX return. Running a little behind isn't to mush of a problem.

What is funny is that i have a feeling that our accounting software QuickBooks Pro 2003 is using all data even those that haven't been paid for yet, its not a major problem it just means that we won't have to pay tax on those funds later on.

Anyway to make today even better we will have to start on our BAS statement as well. It just gets better and better. What i can't forget to do is to send the Annual GST report in as well. All this TAX stuff, no wonder small business is struggling.

As my hunt for a 944 continues i have found out some terrific information about the car itself and the strengths and weaknesses. All of this information was found by searching the internet. Anyway enough about that.

As for business operations itself we have started the optimisation of sgmtinting using its other keywords. (that doesnt sound right!) We have also validated the web site to xhtml 1.0 and inserted our link exchange program which we will start populating today.

We started link exchanges with our web site a few days ago and we now have a fantastic growing database of links, which in turn will help our PageRanking throughout the internet. So this is what we are doing with our search engine optimisation clients. It is no enough any more to just use keywords and well written content.

So over the next week or so you will see these changes added to monart studio and gallery and lionel yorke's web site. We hope that we will be able to increase our search engine clients greatly within the next year, as it really is a service that cannot be beaten.

As a competition to gain more clients we are thinking of running something in the way of giving away some free tickets to a show or a weekend away somewhere. But that is something that we are just tossing up between at the moment.

Must be off, i have to see if we can get the BAS statement at least started today.

924, 944, 968

What are the numbers you ask? Well it is quite simple they are the model numbers of the Porsche i am looking for. Preferrably i am looking for a 944 S2 or a 968 however i will settle for a 944.

After looking at heaps and heaps of cars, i finaly came back to my original decision. So now i begin the long task of looking for a suitable car.

But enough about that, this blog is for business.

Well i made a mistake with Monart Studio & Gallery, i didn't test the web site in Internet Explorer so the main image wasn't centered but that is fixed now.

As for Search Engine Optmisation we have started to heavily use link tradeing to build PR rankings, for our site and we are implementing it into your search engine clients in the next month or so, to help with their rankings.

Lionel Yorke's web site which as taken over 1 year is almost finished, and will be complete by the end of the week.

While i sit here typing i have just remembered to see how the Bega project is comming along.

Well that is enough for today. I have TAX, BAS and everything else to do.

Good times & Bad times

Well today has been good and bad.

I will start with the bad. It came to my attention that i hadn't heard anything from the yellowpages about the changes that i asked for. So i rang them and guess what. The changes haven't been made and it is too late now. They say that they haven't had any fax from me and that they need proof of the fax.

Another bad point of today was my new client doesn't want to have seo. They feel that it won't help them at all, which is abit annoying but what can you do.

Monart Studio and Gallery have said that there is something wrong with the design so they are not happy. However it is what they choose so i have to diplomatically get them to pay their bill.

As for the good things, Lionel Yorke signed up for search engine optimisation which is fantastic. So it makes up for the loss earlier today.

Anyway i have to run, it was just a quick note today, i have to work on the redesign of our web site, TAX, BAS, and call Plantman and sell them a new design with seo.

All steam ahead!

Today has been all go. Since we hadcompleted Bega with what we thought was the new content, it was brought to our attention that it wasn't. So we have been working hard to instert the correct content. In theory we should have it finished by the end of the week.

The final stage in of Lionel Yorke's web site is moving along and should be finished in the next day or so.

We have started work on the new contract which we picked up, Sisfa and have almost finished the updates which they required. After which we hope to set up some kind of monthly maintenance for that and work with them to better the development of the web site.

Now on a personal note it is Fiona's Birthday tomorrow, so ill have to run out a buy her something, and the hunt for a new car is on. I have decided to continue to look for a new car, so that it spurs me on to continue working harder to gain more contracts and if i find that perfect one i will buy it. My idea is not to purchase anything until i get back from Switzerland but you never know.

Long time no see

Well as you may have guessed, I have been relatively busy this last few days, so I haven't had time to write anything. Even as I write now I am pressed for time so I will give you a quick run down on what has happened in the last few days.

I have decided against buying an outlander or any new car until next year. Why? You might ask, that is because I don't want to waste the money at this stage, and a little longer will allow me to grow the company further, and make things a lot easier.

Last night I was elected as a committee member for Royal Kings Park Tennis Club.

We placed the new menu up for the Jolly Frog and have done some more work on Implicors web site. However we didn't do the redesign that i have been longing for on Implicor, but it will come...

That is about all that has happened in short.

Must be off, plenty of things to do not enough time.
